The Home Depot - Don't Buy It, Build It.

Brand challenge:
The Home Depot's brand has become too big and broad for the average consumer. While it's the choice of most professionals and contractors, The Home Depot is also a one stop shop for regular folk and hobbyists.
So why not simplify and streamline home projects. For example appealing with mid century designs that only require basic tools, a couple glasses of wine and maybe a friend to build.
The pride that comes with doing it yourself can't be bought.

So The Home Depot collaborates with world-renowned designers to put together domestic projects, with instructions and lists of materials, allowing even average people to customize the project to their needs.

So we decided to Bring to life fake ads for projects the Home Depot helps you do yourself. Contrasted with a bold ad that says Don't Buy, It Build. Calling people not to buy it... because they can build it themselves.

Don't buy it, build it.
